Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #95

Oh YAY! Can you believe it!?? I'm in a little bit of shock myself, 3 cards in one weekend and then posted in a matter of days! Love it when I'm not working, not doing my housework, not gardening (due to rain) not needing to entertain children (cause they have friends over) and lastly can do what I love as my super man is at the V8 Supercars and I'm in the office STAMPING!!! Bliss I tell you... BLISS!!!!
I needed one more card going into this week and that is for a sweet little girl who is also turning 3! How the years are flying......
I again turned to a challenge and this time it was from the fabbo ladies at Inkspirations!! Love their site and their challenges! YAY I got to play along!

I used the same colour base as the Dino card (mostly cause they were ALL OVER my desk, he he) but went with the girlie colours in the Just Add Cake DSP! I love this pack of paper! Blushing Bride is the main colour with hints of Peach Parfait! Oh how wonderful it is that it suits all little children!! It's AWESOME!!!
Some sparkle was a must and my fav ribbon, ponies are a super choice for a girl and there you have it! I've had the best time, I hope you've enjoyed seeing some of my cards, I know it's been awhile! SORRY!!! Life, it can be busy hey!!! Have the most splendid rest of your week!

My little "boy" friend

One of the most talented ladies out there in the crafting world would have to be that of the lovely
Bronwyn Eastley - Addinktive Designs. She amazes me time after time and she goes in a lot of cool challenges! As I needed a starting point for my dear little "boy" friend who's turning 3 very soon, I went to her blog and looked at the list of sites she visits! I found this.... Stamping 411. They regularly have challenges and this week it was a great sketch that I decided was the goer for my card!

Dear Colin, Kim and baby Owen stamped (fed and slept) at my place last Saturday night and they brought with them the most cutest set of Dinosaurs that I HAD TO INK UP! So with my little Triceratops inked it was just a matter of colour coordinating him with the DSP Just Add Cake and adding some fun embellishments! I love how happy he is!! SO CUTE!! I also thought it was cool that it's for a 3 year old and the Triceratops, well... has 3 horns! Love it when a card comes together (in more ways than one!!)
I hope you like my take on the challenge, hopefully I can play along with them another day!

Just Add Ink 93 - A colour combo

I do always enjoy being able to play with challenges, especially those over at Just Add Ink! Perhaps cause I know a lot of them and they really are the most wonderful bunch of ladies and talented to boot!!!
So with some cards needed for this week I decided to join in the fun! How gorgeous is this colour combo? I love the freshness of it and then the bright hit with the pink! So funky!

In typical Sharnee style I went with a bit of a vintage theme, dollies after all are one of those favourite things from days gone by and the person I have in mind for this card LOVES blue. I wanted to do as much blue as possible, just a little green, lots of clean crisp white and then lastly a splash of pink from some retired buttons!
I hope you like my take on this weeks JAI challenge, do be sure to see the other AMAZING creations, they really are super!

Thinking of YOU!

Every Monday my children for their writing, write a letter to one of their pen pals. Then we usually ride up to the shop and post them! I love getting letters, well especially cards in the mail and so I take up the opportunity to write out some cards too. This week I wanted to send a little something to my lovely Friend Anna whom we stayed with when on holiday.
It is a mix of old and current Stampin Up products with one of my favourite theme's the Bunting!
Enjoy!
