I added a pet, as my little friend loves cats
(well all animals really!!)
Made with oval punches, small heart and circle ones!
SOOO CUTE!
 A SIX badge to wear!
I added little button brads to the eyes for extra detail
Ohhh the hair is soooo fun to make!! Gotta love that colour!!

Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge #218 - Woods invitaion

I need a birthday invitation and if you know me at all you know I LOVE theme's...... so with an afternoon tea in the woods an invite with trees, AUTUMN TREES (my absolute FAV!!!) is the way to go!
I found this wonderful sketch at The sweetest thing so I flipped the sketch upside down and this is how my invite turned out!

You can make super easy leaves with a circle punch, just punch out the circle and then put the circle back in and punch off some more...... tree trunks look wonderful with the woodgrain embossing folder, just add some extra ink to make it look more life like!!
Ohhhh I can't wait to make some more!

I really liked the idea of adding flowers to my page even if it is a beach theme!! ! I took the blue and spots from the picture and of course added Gold highlights which are such a fav of mine at the moment too!

Well that is it, thanks heaps for popping in!

Yay it's time for another challenge at Perfectly Rustics!! This time around we are playing with Bling, sparkle and Shine!!! You can use foil paper, embossing, gold, rhinestones, you name it, as long as it SHINES!!!
I went with an old fav, EMBOSSING!!! I used my gold ink pad with clear embossing powder. Then the frame is made from the off cut of one of the labels from the Apothecary Framelits with the lovely GOLD FOIL (currently in the SU mini!)
The images I've used are from a gorgeous stamp set called Lovely Romance, sooooo love this set!! Then the Hello is from Four You!!

I hope you get a chance to play along with us it would be super great to see what you come up with!

Scrap and Music Sketch #26 - Logical Song

It's my birthday month, the wonderful MAY and I was in need of a scrap page with ME in it!! I already have a Mother's Day page for the kitchen calander so with the groovy sketch at Scrap and Music I ended up doing a page just about.... well me!

I've found that pages on yourself are a bit tricky, I'm not sure why, I guess it just seems weird! So I went with my absolute FAV colours ( Calypso Coral, Crisp cantaloupe & Smokey slate,) embellishments (doilies, buntings and vintage) combining it with the words from the "Logical Song" - "Who I am!"

The bunting is made with Washi tape, my flowers with the Spiral flower die and the film strip with On Film framelits. The DSP was my all time fav from the pack of Watercolour Wonder. I like the mix of my own handwriting and the stamped words too!
My amazing sister took this photo of me, I did have one without my giggly face but this seemed to fit more of who I am, Allan agreed too so that was the photo!
