CASE-ing the Catty challenge #11 - Tags

The seasonal mini is out with Stampin' Up! and with that come even more wonderful things to CASE! This week at CASE-ing the Catty we are sharing some tags!! Be it getting ready for Christmas, or simply a tag needed for a birthday, thank you or baby gift we all add tags to our loved pressies!!
You can get a great tassel look with the fringe scissors! I've layered mine with Naturals ivory, Tempting turquoise and the silver glimmer paper.
My tag features the wonderful new stamp set called Four Feathers (it even comes with matching framelits!! YAY!) and the special HOSTESS set that's on offer until the end of Oct!
To create my sequin ribbon I simply threaded the large silver sequins (available in the mini) onto some linen thread, tied a knot and TA DA!!
Hope to see what terrific tags you'll come up with! Join us at CASE-ing the Catty!

Perfectly Rustics Punch Art challenge #32

 Clown made by Zeke

Punch Art is a wonderful thing in the creative world!! It's really only left to your own imagination as to what you can come up with......
This fortnight at Perfectly Rustics we are celebrating the fabulous technique of PUNCH ART!!!

My son has made a card to inspire you this time!! Zeke needed a card for his friend who was turning 11! He loves racing cars and so with some help from Google (Zeke found THIS) he cased the card and made it his own!! Do your children get involved with some punch art??

CaSE-ing the Catty challenge #10 - Artistic Expression (Minecraft card)

When you think of being artistic what comes to mind??
Ohhhh I'm not an artist?
I can't draw?
I could never make a card like that?

One of the joys of Stampin' Up! is the ability to make wonderful, artistic projects without all the "worry" that you can't!!! Then when you throw in a CASE there really is no reason to "fail!"
This week at CASE-ing the Catty we are in the Artistic Expression pages 154-175 where there are OODELS of wonderful cards to inspire you!!
I went with a sketch from the card on page 163 (top right, the Gee thanks one) and using my Artistic expression made my own stamp for a Mine craft card ready for my son's birthday next week!!
Image from HERE.
Have you seen the undefined stamp kit?? WOW if you've not then you really need too!! I first saw THIS and then HAD TO get it myself to give it a whirl! I've also made THIS, who knows what the next stamp will be that I'll make!!

transferring the image to the rubber is super easy!

What is your artistic flare? Perhaps you'll join us with a watercolour project? Maybe a groovy background..... hope you can play along with us this week!

Perfectly Rustics challenge #31 - Bunting or banners

I've been a bit slow getting this one up but there is a wonderful new challenge at Perfectly Rustics where you can let lose with Banners or Buntings!!!
Who doesn't love a good bit of bunting??
I went with a very simply card, sponged in some fluffy clouds in the background and then using the very cool bunting punch created lots of bunting strings!! Add some linen thread to hang them from and some sparkle with the sweet stars from the in-colour sequin assortment and you have a great birthday card!
How will you use this wonderful challenge..... pop a bunting on a baby card? Perhaps make one for a party? Can't wait to see what you do!!

Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge #236 - Frozen inspired card (Elsa)

I'm holding my monthly Paper Dolls stamp club tonight and for this month I really wanted to show case the amazing Undefined stamp set!!! I have to say when I first saw it I thought.... well I don't think that's very cool........ but when I saw THIS I decided to buy one myself and give it a whirl!!!
I'm sooooo pleased that I did!! Can you believe what you can actually achieve with the right tools, the rubber and your favourite image!!!

Then all I needed was a great sketch...... thanks to Karen at The sweetest thing she has wonderful card sketches each and every week! This weeks one was a must for my card!! YAY!
close up of the wonderful Dazzling diamonds glitter paper and the new snowflakes
(found in the latest SU mini!)

Ok, so I knew I wanted a girly card (and a boy card which I'll show tomorrow) and as anyone knows FROZEN is the all time FAV movie at the moment with the most wonderful characters!!! So I found THIS image of Elsa and after tracing over it all in pencil and then rubbing it onto the rubber it was then time to carve!!

 The first stamping...... WOW!!

It certainly was a more tricky one to do but the result I'm soooo thrilled with!!!! YAY!! YAY!! YIPPEE!!! Can't wait to show my fabbo ladies in club, I also can't wait to give this card to my sweet Esther for her 5th birthday coming up in December!! Totally got that one organized......
gotta be happy about that!!

CASE-ing the Catty challenge #8 - Card giving!

Card giving..... it's a powerful thing to give a card, it can lift someone up, give them a smile, make them laugh and show them they are loved!!
Well from pages 102-143 you can be inspired to make and give wonderful, gorgeous cards with CASE-ing the Catty this week!! I took inspiration from page 139 with a stunning matchbook card! It have everything I love about cards, oozing with colours, layers, shimmer and polka dots!!
I did mix it up a bit by using different stamps but overall it was a complete case!!

This is the inside of the card! YAY I stamped the inside!! Sooo excited and LOVE how it looks... must do more of this......

Have you ever made a matchbook card?? My upline showed me how when I first saw Stampin' Up! 8 years ago! They are super fun and easy too! Love to see what you come up with this week,
