Twelve days of Christmas Cards 2015 - Day 12 {punch art angels}

It's the last day lovely people! Only a few more sleeps till we celebrate Christmas day, so here is my final card (and probably final post till next year... sometime!)
This was another project I made and have never showed it, it's quite old sadly but it's too lovely to not show it for my 12th day of Christmas! Now they aren't toy soldiers but they stand firm and strong and look much better!!
ANGELS! Made from the petal cone die and a whole bunch of other punches! I saw the idea HERE and HERE. The children love this kind of thing, punch art is certainly a fav for all ages and there are HEAPS of amazing ideas all over the Internet!!!

So what was your favourite day of Christmas cards??? I'd have to say I've loved sharing them all!
I hope and pray that your Christmas season is full of love and peace and joy and that you are touched by God's love as we celebrate the best gift of all - Jesus!
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Twelve days of Christmas cards 2015 - Day 11

I have to confess that this is a card I made last year...... but there's more!!!
I DIDN'T EVEN SEND IT!!!! Be sure to know that this issue has now been resolved, you could say a bit like the rats and mice the piped piper happily led out of the city! Problem solved! YAY!!!

I used one of the wonderful embellishments from the Project life Hello December (2014) as the focus of my card BUT with the gorgeous gold embellishments from the NEW collection of Project Life Hello December 2015 you could make something just as lovely! The background was made with an embossing folder covered in ink, such a gorgeous effect!!
Show this technique at your next get together and I'm sure you'll have a whole following of ladies after you wanting to make it too!

How about some more tags? For my 10th day of Christmas cards I'll have you leaping to your craft space to make some too!! Inspired by the amazing Wonderland stamp set and some more of that stunning vellum I came up with these tags for my club ladies as their farewell project for the year!
You will LEAP  when you find out how easy they are to make!
Vellum, tag topper punch, triple banner punch, ribbon, Wonderland stamp set, sticky strip, and a gold foil sheet!
The table was set and ready for my Paper Doll club ladies to arrive!

It's party time with hands "leaping" everywhere
to make their tags and eat the goodies!

So don't wait a moment longer, get leaping to make some for yourself NOW!!

Twelve Days of Christmas Cards 2015 - Day 9

Feel like some dancing??? It's day nine and I have a beauty for YOU!!!
This card was created by Kim!!!( not sure where she got here inspiration from sorry!) I was totally dancing on the spot when I saw this in her office and then found out she was gong to demonstrate it in her card class!!! Of course I asked if I could come - she said YES!!! Happy dance right there!!!

I would NEVER make a card this involved, we had a ruler and pencil and rubber and...... well all i can say is that Kim is a super whizz with all things organized and she blitzed this card with a Hip HOP!
So love the end result, I'm sure any good judge would give it a 10/10!!

Twelve days of Christmas 2015 - Day 8

What do you do with your scraps?? Mmmmmm I have a "scrap" box and so doooooo my children! You can collect quite a few can't yoooooou??!! Well with scraps like the one I've used here there is most certainly not a reason to throooooow it away!
I'm sure you've seen the idea Mooo-dles of times (don't forget we are on day 8 now...) by using the negative of the cut out!!

Gro-oooo-vy idea if I do say so myself!! I've kept with simple (YET AGAIN) and white too, another fav "go-to" base colour for me this year and with a wooden element, twine and washi you have a Scrap card!!! Moooo-velous!

Twelve days of Christmas cards 2015 - Day 7

You can't go past a good Holiday Mini and NOT want to case!!! Here is another Mini inspired card, cased all the way, pictured there on page 51!
My lovely club ladies made this card with me on our second last get-to-gether. Sooooo pretty and full to overflowing with Stampin' Up splendor!!

With different patterns of the Winter wonderland vellum, each card will have it's own specialness! (possibly not a word but you know what I mean!! hee he!)
So even though the 7th day of Christmas is all about swimming swans, I think this sleigh, snow card fits in quite nicely!!

Twelve days of Christmas cards 2015 - Day 6

I have a simple tag to show you today, easy, pretty and again only limited by your own imagination! Don't you just love Stampin' Ups! Punches!!?? Oh I do!!!

The tree punch and a doily is all that's needed for this sweet little tag, add some twine, or ribbon to have it swinging happily from your gift and you'll be as happy as a goose who's just laid an egg!!

Twelve days of Christmas cards 2015 - Day 5

On the fifth day of Christmas you may remember that...... it's all about GOLD! Well how about 5 gold houses?!?! While looking through the pages of the wonderful Holiday Mini, the tag on page 13 gave me the idea for this card. I was keen to make loads of sample with my new Jingle all the way bundle and this was one of them.

Again not my usual Christmas colours but black and gold seem to be really growing on me!!
What do you think? Would you like to get 5 gold rings, or perhaps 5 gold houses!! hee he.

Twelve days of Christmas Cards 2015 - Day 4

It's time for DAY 4!! With a borrowed stamp set in hand I had a lot of fun playing with simple designs. The Festival of Trees stamp set is SOOOO versatile!! Goodness only knows why I don't have this as part of my collection!!! Anyway, I designed this card ready for my Mother/child class and it went off like a lite up Christmas tree!! It was THIS card that gave me the ideas and they are soooo easy to make! You can also make loads of different ones by using the different tree stamps! BRILLIANT!!!

Twleve days of Christmas Cards 2015 - Day 3

On the third day of Christmas my true love gave to me......

Well this might not be from my true love but it will be for someone I love! This card includes some of my favourite colours! I don't usually make cards that aren't in the traditional red and green but for this one I stepped out of my Christmas box!
Calypso coral with splashes of gold and hints of black, how very modern!!

Have you tried using thin ribbon behind your cards other than just twine??
Gives is more of a full look!

I'm not sure I'll make oodles of "non-traditional" coloured cards but I was happy with the result on this one!

Twelve days of Christmas Cards 2015 - Day 2

Day TWO and I have another deer card to show you with a twist! This one uses the same holiday framelits but instead of the word JOLLY you can make it JOY!!! Love that!!

I've also added some gold thread and a vellum circle in the background. This card was actually inspired by THIS one, how could I not put my own spin on it, gorgeous card!!!

Twelve Days of Christmas Cards 2015 - Day 1

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Every where you go!

Oh how I LOVE Christmas!!!! What an amazing, wonderful, special time of the year!! So with Christmas only what seems like DAYS away I'm here to inspire you with some of my Christmas cards this year. For the first day of Christmas cards.....
This sweet little deer has been very popular in the Stampin' Up! Mini and why not, isn't she cute!!??
Simply cut out of the Home for Christmas DSP, add some fun pom-pom trim, a greeting with the new Christmas greetings framelits and pop a circle with co-ordinating DSP from the pack and you have it!!!
I made quite a few of these and just love how each little reindeer lights up the card!
Be sure to come back again for day 2 of my Christmas Cards collection,
