Goodmorning sunshine

I was at the local Evandale market this last weekend with Sophia, it was a special "mummy and me" time that we shared and whilst looking around I came across this....

It totally graped my attention, it's soooo happy!!! Don't you think? Well once I saw it I knew it was coming home with us.....
Something about the colours and the fruit and it's retro-ness! he he :0)
One of my blogging friends Charlene goes market buying every week, check out her cool blog HERE! (she also makes that most AMAZING cards!!) My little find reminded me of her, hello LOVELY!
So good morning to you all my blogging friends, hope it's sunny (if only on the inside!)

Stamp a memory challenge #14

I've often looked at this wonderful site STAMP A MEMORY as the wonderful Claire Daly use to be one of the designers. Lately though I've not really had time to scrap and so it's one of those things that continually gets pushed down the list.
I did however make time to join in on this challenge as I really loved the layout and so made it TOP OF THE LIST of things to do last night!!!

I'm soooooo loving the new colours that Stampin' Up! have now, here I've used Pear Pizzaz and Cajun craze...... such cool colours!!

The photo's I've used are ones my sister took approx 6 1/2 years ago of my spunky husband and our adorable son Ezekiel (who in 10 days will be 7!!) Sarah is a fantastic photography and if you haven't already checked out her site then you need to NOW HERE!!!

I'm hoping to do much more scrapping in the coming months, especially when you see super AMAZING pages like the very talented Amanda does from JAI!! WOW talk about SUPER STAR MATERIAL!!!!
See you all again soon,

First true love

I had the absolute pleasure and delight of attending the wedding of Colin and Kim on Saturday! Kim is one of my fabulous team members - the Perfectly Rustics, she has become a wonderful part of my life and to attend her wedding was such a treat!!!

Allan, Esther and myself had the bestest afternoon! It was held a an old homested called Franklin House and then a delicious afternoon tea was at Kim's parents home.
As mentioned in one of my other posts Sarah (my super sister) was the wedding photographer, check out her awesome web site HERE

(check out that gear!!)

I loved Kim's dress (which her very clever mum made) and Colin looked soooo handsome too! He got teary on seeing his bride to be walk down the isle, and in the ceremony we all heard the wonderful moments that brought the two of them together and what they LOVED about each other. It was soooo romantic!!! There were even scottish bows and tartin as Kim's parents were born there. Ohhh it truly was a fabulous day!
Hope your weekend was wonderful also with whatever you got up to,

and the winner is..... {and also is....}

Well if you're anything like me, (when I join in on a competition) you've been checking back waiting (patiently I hope!) for me to announce the winner of my GIVEAWAY!!!
SO with out further ado, the winner is.........

VANESSA!!!! Here is what she said-
I love Season of Joy - I keep coming back to that stamp set, just love it! (And will buy it one day!) It looks like it could be very versatile. My favourite stamping technique is heat embossing. I started embossing with my mum's toaster when I was in high school and it's still such a classic technique. I'm a little more creative when using it now though. My favourite thing about spring is fesias. I love fresias! They're not the most beautiful flowers to look at, but you know when you're walking down the street and this beautiful flowery scent just wafts by ... mmmm... delicious! Have I mentioned that I love fresias? :)

Congratulations Ness, thanks sooo much for sharing your thoughts with me/us on Spring! I'll post your goodies to you soon!

ALSO
I have HUGELY exciting news..... in the latest Inkspirations Sketch Challenge the very lovely and extremely talented Keesh has announced the winner and..........
IT WAS ME!!!! Here's the card just incase you missed it!! he he

WOW! I'm totally over the moon, what an honor to be chosen by (in my opinion) one of the best card makers out there in the blogging world!!! I'm soooo excited!! As a reward I will be a guest designer for the next sketch! WOW!!!! How wonderfully, super duper is that!?!
So be sure to check back and see my creation!

Have a wonderful weekend, I'm off to a wedding today! YAY!!! The wonderful, funny, super, (fabbo down-line) Kim and Colin and getting married today and my sister (Sarah-from MOMENTO click HERE) is taking the photo's!! It's already an amazing day with the sun shinning and a quite breeze! I just need to find something to wear.... (perhaps that spring dress! he he!) Soooo looking forward to it!

Catch up with you all soon,

Embellish Paper Piecing Colour Challenge

I think it truly wonderful to have the time to join in on challenges! And when it's the Embellish mag one I feel EXTRA happy!! Like i've really achieved something that "I" want to do! It's something about their colour swatches that really gets my creative juices flowing so with this amazing pic to work off I was in for something beautiful.... I hoped!!!
Now for what I created.....
What do you think?? I'm rather happy with my brooch and belt, and the top of the dress I just drew free hand then pleated the skirt and put it all together! Pretty cool hey!?! If was any type of a sewer I wouldn't mind whipping this little number up to wear on a beautiful spring day!
Thanks soooo much for popping by,
