Foxy Friends - "Deer" Friend

 

 Just showing you a quick card I made recently at the stamp camp I went too!! It was sooo super fun and I got to play with some Stampin' Up! goodies that i don't own.... yet!!
The Foxy friends stamp set is ALL over Pinterest and the ideas that people are coming up with are AWESOME!!! Here is my first try with the cute little critters! Of course I HAD TO make the deer!

I rocked and rolled the animal image to create different looking fur, then cut up some of the words to spell out the word "DEER." Lastly added some of the cute Emerald Envy dots that are available in ALL the in-colours!
How perfect is the woodland embossing folder!! LOVE!

Thoughtful Branches - You're in my Thoughts card

 

Another card with the Thoughtful Branches set. This one was inspired by a gift bag that Stampin' Up! designed (can't find the pic though...) with white embossed leaves and the new doily as a sweet background! Loving the Peek-a-boo peach incolour and Watermelon wonder together with a splash of gold!

Quick and easy card with Sunshine Wishes Thinlits

WOW I've been busy! What a wonderful holiday time we all had and then with my weaving being the perfect Winter craft, sitting in my office to blog has been, well uninviting!! BUT I have been making cards too and lately really quick ones!

 

 This card was for my friend who has had a really hard year and I just wanted to send some LOVE and HUGS! How PREFECT is the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits for that!!!! SPOT ON!!! LOVE THEM!!!

Washi is a total FAV too and adds some fun interest to any card! Have you seen the new thick bakers twine?? This is the night of navy twine, sooo lovely with mint macaron!!

CASE-ing the Catty challenge #8 - Card giving!

 

Card giving..... it's a powerful thing to give a card, it can lift someone up, give them a smile, make them laugh and show them they are loved!!
Well from pages 102-143 you can be inspired to make and give wonderful, gorgeous cards with CASE-ing the Catty this week!! I took inspiration from page 139 with a stunning matchbook card! It have everything I love about cards, oozing with colours, layers, shimmer and polka dots!!
I did mix it up a bit by using different stamps but overall it was a complete case!!

 

 This is the inside of the card! YAY I stamped the inside!! Sooo excited and LOVE how it looks... must do more of this......

Perfectly Rustics challenge #14

It's time for a brand new challenge at Perfectly Rustics for the brand new year!! YAY!
Kim has come up with a colour challenge for us all to play with..... and wouldn't you know it, it has one of my least favourites colours EVER in it!!!!! Do you know what???
GARDEN GREEN!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it, I think perhaps she did it just to make me use my ink pad!! HEE HE!!! She knows my dislike for it but challenge it is and so I arose to that challenge!!!!
Here is my take:

I used the greetings from Four You, the branch from Take Care and the frame is from the Peek-a-boo die. The sweet little flower middles are those candy dots and the DSP Quatrefancy Specialty!

You will notice that I didn't do too much with the green, but it's growing on me!! (hee hee garden, growing, get it??) After making this card I came across another challenge using it also!! You can see that HERE, so I'm happy to report that my garden green ink pad AND marker is now feeling the love.......
