Twelve days of Christmas cards 2015 - Day 11

I have to confess that this is a card I made last year...... but there's more!!!
I DIDN'T EVEN SEND IT!!!! Be sure to know that this issue has now been resolved, you could say a bit like the rats and mice the piped piper happily led out of the city! Problem solved! YAY!!!

I used one of the wonderful embellishments from the Project life Hello December (2014) as the focus of my card BUT with the gorgeous gold embellishments from the NEW collection of Project Life Hello December 2015 you could make something just as lovely! The background was made with an embossing folder covered in ink, such a gorgeous effect!!
Show this technique at your next get together and I'm sure you'll have a whole following of ladies after you wanting to make it too!

Christmas Eve goodies to share

It's Christmas eve! WOW can you believe it!! What a glorious day, the sun is shinning the children are sneaking a peak at the presents we wrapped last night and Allan has the next 5 days off! YAY! YAY! YAY!
.... it's the most wonderful time of the year!!
So for today I'm showing you my goodie bags that we will be giving out later today! Each and every year I bake some tasty treats for our very close friends. The children and I have the best time tasting and cooking and wrapping and of course eating.

I have such a great time making tags and doing my "crafty" thing!
How wonderful are the new vintage tags from the mini

Have you guessed what they are??

Paper stocking!! Do you have favourite projects that you see and think to your self "I have to make that!!??" Well when we saw these on page 21 IBC I knew that I'd have to whip some up!
I went with the vintage theme as that's what I like best and gave my sewing machine some brightly coloured red thread and started sewing! I love to sew on card stock it's one of my fav things to do when crafting!
How are your last minute preparations going?? I hope that it's all running smoothly and your really finding it hard to wipe the smile off your face!!!
Merry Christmas Eve!!

Embellish Stitching Colour Challenge

This is another card I excitedly made today whilst my wonderful family were scattered around, some out water skiing, some at friends places and one in bed sleeping!
Here is the fabulous inspiration picture from the latest challenge at Embellish Magazine

I love any opportunity to sew on my machine and now that I have it set up ALL the time (so much so it's heavy with dust) I did a little sketch and came up with this...

I love how super duper the ribbon turned out, and the tree too!!! Thanks so much for popping by, Smiles Sharnee :0)
