Twelve days of Christmas cards 2015 - Day 6

I have a simple tag to show you today, easy, pretty and again only limited by your own imagination! Don't you just love Stampin' Ups! Punches!!?? Oh I do!!!

The tree punch and a doily is all that's needed for this sweet little tag, add some twine, or ribbon to have it swinging happily from your gift and you'll be as happy as a goose who's just laid an egg!!

Twelve days of Christmas cards 2015 - Day 5

On the fifth day of Christmas you may remember that...... it's all about GOLD! Well how about 5 gold houses?!?! While looking through the pages of the wonderful Holiday Mini, the tag on page 13 gave me the idea for this card. I was keen to make loads of sample with my new Jingle all the way bundle and this was one of them.

Again not my usual Christmas colours but black and gold seem to be really growing on me!!
What do you think? Would you like to get 5 gold rings, or perhaps 5 gold houses!! hee he.

Twelve days of Christmas Cards 2015 - Day 4

It's time for DAY 4!! With a borrowed stamp set in hand I had a lot of fun playing with simple designs. The Festival of Trees stamp set is SOOOO versatile!! Goodness only knows why I don't have this as part of my collection!!! Anyway, I designed this card ready for my Mother/child class and it went off like a lite up Christmas tree!! It was THIS card that gave me the ideas and they are soooo easy to make! You can also make loads of different ones by using the different tree stamps! BRILLIANT!!!

Twleve days of Christmas Cards 2015 - Day 3

On the third day of Christmas my true love gave to me......

Well this might not be from my true love but it will be for someone I love! This card includes some of my favourite colours! I don't usually make cards that aren't in the traditional red and green but for this one I stepped out of my Christmas box!
Calypso coral with splashes of gold and hints of black, how very modern!!

Have you tried using thin ribbon behind your cards other than just twine??
Gives is more of a full look!

I'm not sure I'll make oodles of "non-traditional" coloured cards but I was happy with the result on this one!

Twelve days of Christmas Cards 2015 - Day 2

Day TWO and I have another deer card to show you with a twist! This one uses the same holiday framelits but instead of the word JOLLY you can make it JOY!!! Love that!!

I've also added some gold thread and a vellum circle in the background. This card was actually inspired by THIS one, how could I not put my own spin on it, gorgeous card!!!

Twelve Days of Christmas Cards 2015 - Day 1

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Every where you go!

Oh how I LOVE Christmas!!!! What an amazing, wonderful, special time of the year!! So with Christmas only what seems like DAYS away I'm here to inspire you with some of my Christmas cards this year. For the first day of Christmas cards.....
This sweet little deer has been very popular in the Stampin' Up! Mini and why not, isn't she cute!!??
Simply cut out of the Home for Christmas DSP, add some fun pom-pom trim, a greeting with the new Christmas greetings framelits and pop a circle with co-ordinating DSP from the pack and you have it!!!
I made quite a few of these and just love how each little reindeer lights up the card!
Be sure to come back again for day 2 of my Christmas Cards collection,
