May's stamp club Projects - Popping Pastels
With the ending of May nearly here I wanted to make sure I popped in and showed you the projects I demonstrated to my wonderful ladies in Stamp Club.
As May is my birthday month I wanted to showcase things that I LOVE so the cards were full of embellishments and vintage and pastels and tea-cups and Autumn goodness!!
Here they are....
Firstly I went to the lovely French foliage set and made this simple card. I gave it to my sister for Mother's day as she too loves Autumn and leaves and yellow's and oranges.
Then I showed my newest set to my collection the Tea Shoppee (it's in the Autumn/Winter mini!). This card have more of my favourites, especially the colours (love that Mustard on the cup) and more roughing and more Popping Pastels.
Have you ever tried Popping Pastels??? You can see a great tut HERE! It's a very soft look but super awesome for something a little different and a great way to blend more colours in to your stamped image.
Well for those of you flying into Canberra in the next 24 hours, I'm totally thinking of you HEAPS.... I soooo wish to be there at the Stampin' Up Convention sharing in the hugs, the laughter and of course the AMAZING stamping ideas but for this year it's a no-go for me.... so my dear stamping friends, laugh a little more for me and make a little extra noise for the things you LOVE and know that I'd love to be there with you all....
