Spinner card with Pinwheel die - Paper Dolls stamp club {June}
Have you played with the sweet little Pinwheel Die?? It's in the Seasonal Mini and sadly wont be making it to the main new catty (released on Mon 1st July!) in saying that neither will the cloud embossing folder (SAD FACE) so with this in mind I HAD TO use them for my Paper Dolls stamp club this month!!
A very long time ago I made a spinner card, it was cool and makes a very fun children's card!! I thought it was time to do it again and the Pinwheel die is PERFECT! I saw this card HERE and made one myself.
My Paper Doll ladies LOVED IT, there were plenty of "Weeeeeeeeeeeeee" being said as they saw their card come to life!
For the second card we used the Pinwheel again with the same greeting (from Bring on the Cake which is crossing over to the new catty, YAY!) and made some grass. Have you tried this??? You know when you "muck up" your scallop edge punching?? Well that's grass!!! You'll laugh when you end up with a perfect scallop edge that then you have to some how MUCK UP to get your grass!!! Funny!!
The DSP I used is also from the mini, it's called Sprinkles and Sunshine and is sooo sweet and bright and fun too. I have a scrapbook page I'll show you with it soon.
Lastly I made this groovy Elephant card with the You're Amazing stamp set and the retiring DSP that matches! He looks soooo cool as he spins around!!

Paper Doll stamp club ...... saying goodbye to Forever Young stamp set
It's true, it's taken me far too long to post these cards I demonstrated with my wonderful Paper Doll stamp club last month..... Mmmmm! But I'm here now and I'd love to show you as it's that time of the year in the stamping up world that we say goodbye to loads of wonderful stamps, colours and more. So for the last two months I've been showcasing some of my favourite's and giving them one last Hurrah!!
I used retiring colours... More Mustard and Bravo Burgundy and retiring stamp sets... Forever Young and Established elegance.
I wanted to show off the wonderful and very versatile Natural Composition Specialty DSP (which has actually made it into the new catty!! YAY!) so came up with these....
I do like my cards to complement each other for my club so we went with the same layout just with different embellishments and colours!
Have you tried the Rock and Roll technique??? That's what we did on the tips of the tree to make it look more Autumn like! I love this tech, it's SUPER easy and gives awesome effects!!!
Did you know the Spritzer is saying Goodbye...... make sure you get all the goodies you want before Sun cause it'll be too late come Monday!!
See you soon with some more show and tell,

Elements of style- retiring stamp set
This is going to be a very missed set once the end of the month comes by, the retiring Elements of Style stamp set is well loved by many a demo lady and her wonderful customers....
Here i used it with the Shimmer paint which sadly will not been carrying over to the new catty either!
Ohhhh how I LOVE shimmer paint.......
In fact the main colours of this card being Not quite navy and Baja breeze will also be leaving us....
Have you checked out the retired list?? Do you have all those old favourites before they are gone??

Convention highlights {number one}
It's hard to believe that this time 2 weeks ago Sapphire and i were on our little trip to Brisbane for the Stampin' Up! National Convention!! ohhhh it was soooo awesome and I had an absolute ball.
SO here are a few of the highlights of my trip....
Once I arrived at the convention center I saw this lovely lady!! Shelli herself, we chatted about babies and children, she showed me her precious grandchildren twins on her phone and we chatted some more about size and family! It was sooo wonderful, afterwards I had to have a picture taken!! SMILES all round!!
The Managers reception was really great! I bumped into the very talented Delys
and sat next to Sarah, who was super keen on having a cuddle with Sapphire
A quick pic with the beautiful Ferris wheel before taking Sapphire home to bed!
WOW what a day!
Day one saw more opportunities for snaps with some of my fav blogging friends...
Day two I got a cuddle with Bonnie (sooo love this lady!!)
Make and takes were a hit, not only for Kim and I but also with Sapphire!!
She loves the new blue (it matches soooo fabulously with her dress)
and she really likes the packaging of the new bags!!
My super convention chick Kim, helping by keeping Sapphire happy
(which turned out to be her job each morning) while I prepared some solids for her
Olivia, how awesome to bump into her, we met 2 years ago,
it was great to see her do her thing on stage!!
Ummmm I might need to do a highlights number 2 as there are still a few pictures I've not included......Monday, June 3, 2013
