Who doesn't like a nicely packaged gift?? If you ask me "It's ALL about the Packaging!!" SO when I found that SUO challenges were doing a theme on treat boxes and the like I decided to get some pretty packaging ready for my Christmas cooking.
I SOOO love the boxes that Stampin' Up! have to offer and this one is AWESOME for cookies.... I'm thinking more shortbread actually!! I've decorated it with some DSP from Lullaby and Under the Tree specialty DSP. The little tree stamp is from 25 Days, just add a little greeting if you want the number to be covered up!! PERFECT!
Can't wait to add the final touch of goodness (in only about 8 weeks time...eekkkkk!!) But at least I'm getting organized!! YAY! Thanks SUO for the great inspiration,

A Happy Hooray Feather card!
You might have noticed that I've got a bit of a thing with feathers at the moment!! I'm also TOTALLY loving the "A Happy Hooray" stamp set which has a wonderful feather (along with some other goodies) and when I saw THIS card I knew it was a case for sure!!!
I demonstrated the Baby Wipe Technique with this very card in my Paper Dolls Stamp Club just last night and the ladies LOVED IT!!! Such a wonderful technique and soooo easy with amazing results every time!
The "thanks" is from "another thank you" stamp set which works perfectly, add some sparkly sequins and you have a very clean, simple, elegant card!! Watch out for some more baby wipe cards soon.....

Sketch and Scrap card sketch #35 - Peas in a Pod
There are many a wonderful challenge out there and the Sketch and Scrap site is most certainly one of them! This month they have had HEAPS of cool sketches but this one I loved and found the right inspiration for a baby card I was needing.
When I first picked out the sentiment it got me to thinking about Peas and then that made me think about cute little peas in a pod and then I thought I'd make a family of peas!!
So here is my Kirton family of peas, there is a Daddy and a Mummy and a little boy and a sweet little baby! I'm soooo happy with how it turned out, it made me smile every time I looked at it :) I hope it makes you smile too and thanks for popping by to see my take on the challenge!

CASE-ing the Catty challenge #13 Christmas cards
CASE-ing the Catty is happening again with a new challenge for you all!! Join us for our 13th challenge in creating a Christmas card with inspiration from the Seasonal Mini! My inspiration came from a few different pages..... sketch on page 42, a green base card on page 9 and lastly glitter and sparkle from page 25!
I used the fringe scissors to get my effect and layered the Gold foil sheets with the champagne glitter paper! Finishing off with a greeting from the current Hostess set (you can receive FREE with any workshop over $300) and some Pear Pizazz ribbon with gold ribbon too! I really love sparkle and shine for Christmas and think this will be a card I'll make again and again for my list of 50+ I need this year!!
Hope you can join us and don't forget to check out the other wonderful design team's creations!!

SUO challenges - #107 out in the woods {feathers}
When I saw that SUO challenges had a challenge about the woods I was keen to join in! (sadly I've just missed the link up but still wanted to show you!)
I thought about what I love in the woods and of course birds came to mind! We love to look out for birds when in the forest and especially to find a feather is a real bonus!!
This card is using my latest fav stamp set Choose Happiness with some handmade punch art feathers! The DSP is Back to black and the sweet little paper clip from the new Basic Hodgepodge clips! I'm really happy with this card and can't wait to ink up Choose happiness again really soon!
Thanks for popping by, hope you like my take on the challenge!

CASE-ing the Catty #12 Gifts and packaging
YAY it's time for another CASE! We've gone to fortnightly challenges at CASE-ing the Catty and for this week we are focusing on Gifts and Packaging!! My oh MY there is OODELS of pages of inspiration and CASE-ing to be done in the mini!! What to copy first??
I went with the simple gift bag on page 10 using the Petite Cafe bags and the Nature's Peace stamp set (page 26 in the mini.) Of course I added some of my own personal flare with some sequin trim, peg, a tag and an additional tag with "this season and always" which is also in the set! Oooo you can't go past the Crochet trim to give it a vintage feel!
These are sooooo super easy to do and the Cafe bags are soooooo fabbo!! Did you know they are even lined for those extra buttery hand-baked goodies that will be filled inside them??
Well they are!!! No oozy mess, just yummo yumminess!!!
Come and join us at CASE-ing the Catty this time round, it's a great chance to get started on your Christmas packaging!!

It certainly wasn't the plan but I'm super happy with the result!!I'm loving the new stamp set Choose Happiness! It seems to be my go-to set at the moment! I think you could totally make a male card not only with these colours but also this stamp set... perhaps another challenge awaits me.....
