Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge #14

It's been really nice to have some time to join in the wonderful colour challenges at the moment! There is still Dawn's that I'd like to do but her colours are stumping me at the moment!! But here is Makeesha's inspiration challenge #14 and I needed a Male birthday card so I thought I'd enter!! It 's very VERY simple which I'm struggling with a tad!! I really want to put a button or some ribbon on but as you can see I took all my inspiration from the doona cover itself and that doesn't have button's or ribbons, it's just all lines (can't change the rules.. HE HE!!) It's for a teenager so the less is more thing works for him! Well here it is (my plain and somewhat boring card...)
Oh I should really be more positive about it shouldn't I??
Thanks for popping by, catch you soon!
Smiles Sharnee :0)

I love it!! I think it looks fantastic. Clean crisp lines and not over complicated. Just great. I just put in my challenge card for makeesha too.
Thanks for sharing

Not too plain at all Sharnee! The stripes are really striking and i think they are enough feature on their own! Thanks so much for playing! Love Keesh x

I'm sure the recepient will love it! I struggle with male cards too..made some for my 12 year old and he was very clear that some of them had too much stuff on them. Clean and crisp - love the card.

PS Did a card for Dawn's challenge too...I thought those colors were very hard!!! :)

HI Sharnee,

I think this was perfect for a teeenager! Clean and simple with some nice turquoise brads to set it off.
