This fortnight you need to work with fabric for your card! How cool! I of course don't have fabric laying around the place and short of going to buy some I asked Amanda (a wonderful fabric collector!!) for some pieces in red, green and blue.
I went with the green and made like a pleated skirt on the bottom, not too bad for a non-sewer!!Here is the inspiration picture...
And here is my card...
I know that it seems a little.... well "bitty" some flourishes here, a bold ribbon there... but I really like how it's come up!! Do you think it works??I added some spritzing at the end and wanted the greeting to be subtle by using Not quite navy again but noticeable by popping it out! Anyway I had fun, especially the sewing part! YAY!
Happy Saturday,

Um hello!! That is some fabulous use of ribbon girlfriend!! Love it.
Oh my goodness, girl! This is Beee-U-tiful! Hope you have a great weekend! Hugs!!
So good to hear that someone had fun creating a card, and yours turned out fabulous. For some reason, it makes me feel as though I'm at the lake on a summer day, with the green trees, and blue water/waves.
It totally works! Fabulous job on the Embellish challenge, so glad you could join us!
How pretty! You did a great job with this card! tThanks for playing along with us!
