The wonderful Month of December

It's that time of the year again....
December! Can you believe it?? Are you anything like me and are still in shock at the concept that we are actually at the end of the year! It's really quite scary when you consider how quickly the weeks and therefore months are rolling by.... certainly makes you realize that it's more important than ever to make EVERY day count!!
I do sooo love this time of the year... one of my favourite things is the decorations!!! I love adding my little touches to our home and thinking up gifts and making cards, it makes me happy!
It was my little baby girls 2nd birthday on Saturday, we had a lovely brunch with family, did nothing much in the day and then watched a movie and had pizza for tea. That's another thing that I'm in shock over... that my "baby" is now 2!!!!!
Recently I demonstrated some "little" people cards in my stamp club. One for a girl and one for a boy! I have seen around the blogging world FLIP cards and wanted to give them a go! I found the idea from the wonderful Kim HERE and from there I can't really say but to whomever started this great design I say a HUGE thank YOU!! These cards are great!!!
Here is my girlie take, I think the Pig is soooo cute!!!

And now for my boy one! Again the snail is perfect for this theme and is also in the Button Buddies stamp set! LOVE how it co-ordinates with the SU buttons, makes for such quick and easy cards!
What do you like to do for little children when making cards?? Bright colours? Things that POP?
